Description

This battle, conventionally dated 1185 BC is the basis of Homer's epic poem, The Iliad and other Greek and Roman works. The map portrays the site of Troy, as described by Homer. Each playing piece represents a specific hero of one of the armies, together with the common foot soldiers led by him. Chariots are also present.
