Description

Tricky War is a card game mixing predictive bid, trick-taking and war. In Tricky War, bid on uncertain duels and make the right choices to avoid losing too many points during the war phase. Goal: End up with the most “point” tokens when a player loses their last one. Components: - A 52-card deck (4 suits, each with cards from 1 to 13) - 40 “point” tokens (you can also use a pen & paper) - 20 “bidding” tokens (you can also use a pen & paper) - Something to remember the trump suit(tokens, unused cards…) A game is played in several rounds. The game is over as soon as at least one player does not have any “point” tokens left. A round is played in several phases: 1. Bidding 2. Choosing the trump suit 3. War 4. End of round When at least one player has lost all their “point” tokens, the game is over and the player who has the most "point" tokens is the winner. The rules of Tricky come with some variants to add more control, a partnership mode and a solo mode. —description from the designer
