Description

Max-I-Nim is a two-dimensional version of Nim played on a 6x6 grid with markers placed on the spaces. In the basic game for two players a turn consists of removing two, three, or four adjacent markers from any straight line (fewer at the start), with the last player able to play winning, although it can also be played with the last player to play losing. This version can be played by three or four players with the addition of a scoring system and multiple rounds of play. In the advanced game the colors on some board spaces come into play; the colors are randomly assigned to players and only the player assigned a particular color can remove pieces from the matching spaces. Rules for two, three, and four players are also provided for this version.
