Description

Tomoe represents the struggle between black and white. Both players try to encircle with their colour areas as large as they can, without being encircled by the opponents' colour themselves. The game consists of a board and 32 triple hexagon tiles (4 different tiles, 8 of each). Players alternately place tiles on the board and eventually also rotate a tile already on the board. As all tiles contain black and white areas, you can not just build your own area, but always also build something for your opponent. So you have to be very careful what you do, as an enclosed area only counts to your score if it is not enclosed by your opponent itself. The game ends as soon as the whole board is occupied. Players count the sectors of their opponents colour in areas they have encircled. The player with the highest score wins.
