Description

In Parrotdigm, the rules of the game are as colorful and changeable as a parrot's feathers. This is a dynamic trick-taking game where the scoring conditions—the "Paradigm"—shift at the start of every round. At the beginning of each round, a new Paradigm Card is revealed, determining what will score points this time. It could be collecting specific colors (like Red or Blue), specific numbers (like 7s), or even winning specific tricks (like the Last Trick). The twist? The Starting Player holds the power of the Plus/Minus Card. They must decide whether the scoring condition for the round will be positive (gaining points) or negative (losing points). If the Paradigm is "Red Cards," will you make them worth +4 points each to hunt them down, or -4 points each to force your opponents to take them?. While most rounds follow standard trick-taking rules where players must follow suit , the "Playing Train" Paradigm can suddenly shift the game into a ladder-climbing/shedding game, where players race to empty their hands by playing adjacent numbers. The player with the highest score after all Paradigm cards are used is the winner.
