The first part of the book gives an overview of the wars, a uniform guide, and descriptions of the weapons, strategy and tactics of the period. The majority of the book is a set of scenarios from the English Civil Wars (including a solo scenario of Preston), plus the battle of Lutzen from the 30 Years War.
