Quoted from the box cover: "5 Star is an exiting but fun travel and business game in which the budding entrepreneur attempts to be the first to not only build an empire but also amass a fortune of $100 million. "Players trade in gourmet restaurant chains, holiday clubs, airlines and luxury hotels. Each player has a different set of objectives and can manipulate the buying and selling price of each of the four types of business to enable them to be bought and sold at a profit to that player. At the same time players may manipulate these prices to, hopefully, cause the other players to trade them at a loss. "In this way players use their entrepreneurial skill to amass a personal fortune but must use business skill and strategy to avoid the consequences of bad dealing."
