Description

It’s the Time Tyrant’s wedding and they’ve called on you to whip up the feast! The Tyrant knows a chef is only as good as their ingredients and has loaned you a time machine to let you leap through the ages and collect delicacies that will truly wow the guests. Each round has three phases: 1) travel in time, 2) claim ingredients, 3) cleanup. Starting with the first player and proceeding clockwise, each player on their turn places a pawn on an era board, representing their claim on an ingredient from that era. Then, after everyone has placed their pawns, all chefs collect their ingredients, and the era boards are refilled. Chefs are looking to show off their skills by featuring either a course of the same dish type (drink, appetizer, entree, or dessert) but of different eras known as a "Dish Set", or showcase the foods of one era known as an "Era Set". The game ends immediately when either of the following happens during the “refill” step of the round’s Cleanup phase: either 3 or more era boards have all their cuisine spots filled with cards from eras other than their own (Paradoxes Aplenty), or it is not possible to fill all the cuisine spots on 1 or more era boards (Continuity Error).
