From the rules: "Welcome to Corporate Pursuit and the world of high finance. You are now an investor building a financial empire by buying, selling, and trading corporate stocks. Million dollar deals are a piece of cake because all the calculations you'll need are listed right on the stock certificates. The only figuring you have to do is adding up your fortune at the end of the game." The game uses many real companies as the companies in which the players buy stock.
