Description
ICBM Attack is a light solo/solitaire free PNP wargame with a Cold War theme. World War III has started and nuclear warheads are raining from the sky. You are in command of the Missile Defense system, and your mission is to defend your cities from annihilation. Target and destroy the incoming enemy warheads. The fate of civilization depends upon you. The game is designed to give something of the feel of the old "Missile Command" arcade game. It requires a 6x8 grid gameboard, 22 counters, and a 6d. The enemy warheads enter in three waves and are guided by dice rolls. Players defend three cities against these incoming warheads by placing Targeting Markers at aiming points for antimissile weapons. You lose if any of your cities are hit by an incoming warhead. Games usually last 15-20 minutes. The difficulty-level is adjustable, from "easy" to "we're toast".
