Description

Speak It Not is an LDS game in which players attempt to reveal mystery words without using words that are not allowed. It is similar to the games Password and Taboo. From the publisher: Speak It Not is an exciting, fast-paced card game for Latter-day Saints. Players divide into teams and take turns describing a mystery word without using that word or five other "forbidden" words listed on the drawn card. So if the mystery word is Nephi, the player who drew the card prompts teammates to guess the word without saying Lehi, Brass Plates, Laman, Lemuel, or Brother. Beware: hand gestures, sound effects, abbreviations, or rhyming words are also not allowed! More than 400 cards are included, with mystery words from the Book of Mormon, Bible, Church history, and Church culture. There is no limit on the number of people who can play, which makes Speak It Not the perfect game for family home evenings, parties, or Church activities.
