Description

Spore is an abstract strategy game for two players that is played on a 5x5 board. Two multicolored stashes are required to play. All six pyramids of one color are the invaders. One of them is placed in any square on the board. All other pyramids are villagers. All villagers are placed randomly on the board. Players alternate turns. Each turn, a player must activate every invader on the board. Invaders can either move and capture a villager or launch a new invader, though only one new invader can be launched each turn. If an invader is unable to perform an action when activated, it is removed from the board. Players continue capturing villagers until every no further villagers can be captured. Players then score points for each villager captured, with a bonus for completed trees and an additional bonus for completed trees of a single color.
