"INTRODUCTION: This game is designed to represent all hostage situations that may occur. Six of these situations are represented in HOSTAGE: BANK ROBBERY, EMBASSY TAKEOVER, HIJACKING, KIDNAPPING, PRISON RIOT AND PRISONER OF WAR. OBJECT OF THE GAME: The object of HOSTAGE is to acquire, in proper sequence, the six steps of negotiation towards the resolution of the hostage situation. WINNING THE GAME: The first player to obtain his six Pik A Cards in sequence is the WINNER."
