Description

"Struggle for Wake Island" is a point to point movement wargame for 2 players. The Japanese player has ten turns in two invasions for a total of twenty turns to capture the Island. The Marine player must simply hold out and cause as many casualties on the Japanese as possible. By the use of trackers to record fleet strength and air craft factors helps in keeping the counter mix low for the ground forces. Many optional variants including construction workers and if the VMF fighter squadron is airborne or not on the first day of the action. The goal is for a fun fast game in total time of less than two hours to play and only a few pages of rules to deal with.
