Description

DUDLEY DODO'S ENVIRONMENT GAME is aimed at teaching about the environment and the sensitive relationship between man and other forms of life. Players take it in turns to roll the dice and move the playing piece in a clockwise or anticlockwise direction around the board answering questions on the environment as they go. A majority of the squares on the board are coloured red, brown, blue or green representing the following subjects - animals, the universe, water and plants. On landing on one of these squares a question is asked corresponding to the colour of the square. A successfully answered question allows a player to roll and move again. If the question is answered incorrectly, the turn ends. It should be noted that there are "family" questions for older players and "junior" questions for younger players. If a player lands on one of the four "Dudley Dodo" squares (there is one for each category/colour) he is similarly asked a question of the appropriate category. A correct answer at this point earns one piece of the four-piece Dudley Dodo jigsaw. The environment square requires players to draw a card and follow the instructions (miss a turn, gain/lose a Dudley Dodo card, etc.). The first player to successfully collect all four pices of the Dudley Dodo jigsaw wins the game.
